That depends on the transmitter and if you want to drive on one stick or not. Some transmitters like the spektrum have a mixer built in.
some hold their transmitter at a 45 degree angle, and drive single stick that way.
And some drive their robot as a tank, 1 stick for 1 wheel. you dont need a mixer then either.
