My first robot

Sorry i dont realyl understand that. If i turned my controller off (the tx) would al power turn off? Cos if it does that wil be fine

Turning the transmitter off will not remove power from the robot. You need to have the battery plug accessible within the robot so you can unplug the power source.

You just unplug the battery from the reciever or the speedo and that will do. You can do the mini removable link or a switch if the battery connecter isn't accessible and you can spare a couple of grams.

Unscrew the back, take a picture of the gears so you don't mess it up when reassembling it, use a pair of pliers to pull out the rotation stop on the output gear, drill out the output gear to a larger diameter or file down the potentiometer shaft so it rotates smoothly.

Centre and glue the potentiometer then reassemble the servo when the glue has dried.

It's pretty much the same procedure as other servos but there is a different coloured piece of gear you pull out instead of cutting off the stop. I'll pull a modified one apart if I can find one and pot some pictures tommorow.
