If a bot is damaged during an event, can I replace the body or other parts between battles?
That is where things get metaphysical :) - see the Ship of Theseus - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus

Personally I'd say it's ok even if not "in the spirit" of the tournament. I think it would be more sporting (maybe even, more fun) to patch up the old destroyed chassis, even if it renders it almost undrivable.
Robots: Betsie - RaspberryPi controlled flipper bot with gyro stablisation - too clever for her own good?
Stacie - tidy flipper; 4wd driven by hair bands

I asked this question in another thread. The sporting thing to do is fix it best you can. Replacing a full chassis is like using a brand new robot. If you’ve been smashed to pieces. You’ve most likely lost!

I like to think of it like an F1 race. You can replace wheels, wings and front end but if your chassis is crumpled your out of the race.
