A moment to introduce myself.

Post by Waterdamaged »

Good even, I just want to take this moment to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Dan and I'm a long time fan of Robot Wars and I have decided that I am going to build my own ant. I hope to be a very active member here and hope to get to as many meets as possible. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Dan :)

So what kind of ant are you planning to make ? And whereabouts are you from ? We can point you in the direction of your nearest event.

Thanks guys.

I am looking to model my ant on my favourite bot, 259. I am from Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire.

I thought you were. Well welcome! Ask any questions you want, we're all very friendly and love getting new guys started out. A mini 259 might be a bit ambitious for a first project but it'll certainly be doable once you get to know everything.

Thanks Dave. I agree, it might be a tad ambitious but I love spinners and I love 259. Any tips you could give me for a spinner?
