I had one of those motors in Flail whale; they pack a serious punch! I had thought about trying something a little along these lines a while back, so I'll be very interested to see how it does!

Dave L: Yes, amazingly despite me doing this for almost 12 years now this will be the first time I've entered more than 2 robots in the same tournament. And even then one of them is a converted toy
. I'm hoping I can step my production speed up once I have my own printer.

i jsut saw your bit in this about the toy firestorm how did that fair and i have a chaos 2 toy at home in bits i dissassembled that i am now inspired to give the rc treatment to aswell

If you look at the dates on the post, it was only from a couple of weeks ago, so I don't know how it'll fair yet
