A new robot Simon ? Blimey, the old guard must be feeling the pressure from the youngsters

I got the impression that a lot of the pressure had come from Mr. Waller and his spinners bending the old one :P it looks good though, what will the front/back panels be?

That's 4mm polycarbonate. I decided to redesign after Fast Dalek beat Dynamite 9 times out of 10. Major changes are lighter wheels (Pololu), a smaller receiver (Spektrum AR6110e), a more enclosing (and therefore stiffer) chassis, and larger front and back armour. I'll probably retire the aluminium forks in favour of acetate sheet.

Hi I have finished a robot yesterday, and do you think the name LandMaster has been used before? He fits in a 4 inch cube and he Weighs 122g now.

Here's a link and pictures of what he looks like right now:

I think LandMaster is a great name. Certainly hasn't been used before to my knowledge.

Yep, it's a good name for a great looking robot :) 122g? this is reminding me more and more of The Data Fields...;P

EDIT: Got some pictures done of my AQA Level 3 Extended Project robot, Jetstream:

It's an overhead thwackbot (and therefore completely impossible to control; I may put a mace on it rather than a spike or axe head to give me a fighting chance with it) and is basically all of the parts from The Data Fields crammed into a smaller chassis with some 70mm Pololu wheels. It's not at all pretty but it does do its job, sort of, which is all you can really ask for something built in a week!
The weight of it is a slight problem as I hadn't weighed any part of it at all during construction and consequently it's a massive 94g...

(apologies for picture size)
