As long as it's not so flimsy it falls apart, but even then my spinner fell apart on its own so even if it did it wouldn't be the first or the last, don't worry about neat edges or perfect this and perfect that

Well im having problems finding transmitters and am doubting I will get one by saturdaywhich will mean I will have to forfeit from the event in oxford.

Check HobbyKing, they've got some decent Mode 2 transmitters for around £20-£25, receiver included.
