Thanks Dave! :)
I dont think you could ever bet on who would win an AWS.There are so many very good robots out there. There are at least half a dozen,if not more, people that I certainly wouldnt bet against! Yourself included. :)
I hope to build hundreds more robots! :D I am sure that there will be quite a few spinners, and maybe a walker or two in there somewhere!!!! :)

I think you're in with a very good chance of winning the next AWS the way you're churning out these great bots Jim! I'm currently working on my first flea, taking longer than expected though. Surprising how big the ants seem in comparison now! I'm also working on a brushed motor speed controller, though judging by the price and availability of the baby-o there's getting to be very litle point! Still trying to find a source of the motor driver chip used in the baby-o in the UK which isn't on one of those break out boards.

Right,I think I have finished the paint job on "The Red Baron" :)

Copper and titanium riveted scoop.
I dont think the scoop will last long in battle, but it sure is shiny! :D
I wanted to put exhausts and machine guns on it,but it weighs 149.9g!!! So this will have to do.

We do XD

That is looking wonderful Jim, I'd have thought the dual layer scoop would stand up quite well to most spinny things - it looks really polished too, almost as if it was a commercial product, except it's not and it's unique and awesome :)

Bonjour.
Some progress on Murray the cat-bot evo2.
Completely started again, using third gear motor for tail.
I am using a 3ch deltang micro jobbie.
It has proved to be better to solder than the micro rx's,the pins are just far enough apart to solder wires through the holes. :)
new chassis,new wheels,new lifting mech.
Not finished,but it moves,as of today,so I thought I'd post something.
Here are a couple of pics...

new lifter layout...

layout of tiny rx/esc!!!

bent 2s 370mah lipo battery!!!!!

The new ver is litterally about half the size of the orig! the tongue is much longer, and the lift is much quicker and further. :)
And a quick vid of what the channels do...

cheers Jim.
