Lol! I hope they get whats coming to them at the next event!

Also, that means if you take out John on his own, the cluster will be out, cause he is heavier. I Suggest you make Edward 2g heavier.

but surely due to the 50% rule even if they were the exact same weight, if one of them got eliminated they would still lose? (might be wrong, minds a little rusty)

jack

EDIT: ahhhhh understand now, sorry for confusion

The 50% rule was abolished ages ago.

Although what I'm being told is it appears to have crept back in somehow.

When i fought good and evil with mantis, i took out evil then fell off. We decided that as evil was 6g heavier i won.

IT is a good idea to abolish that rule. Would men that fleas could win fights against ants.

It was abolished for Robot Wars Extreme 2 and Series 7, and we abolished it in ants at AWS18 or 19 cos we couldn't see much sense in it. But it seems to have been reinstated. I know Dave Weston wants to bring it up at the meeting in Brighton, but I'm guessing it'll be in place for that event.

Yeah I much prefer the cluster rule to be changed back to be having to eliminate both halves of the clusterbot. I dunno why it was suddenly changed.

I agree with having to eliminate it all rather than half. That way we may see a few more about.

Here is the testing of our new bot- FrANTic!

A really low 4 wheeled pusher! I think we may have a weight issue, as the robot without any armour weighs 136.9 g! :x
