Oh, what does that mean now?

I thought that was such a cool name (still is!) and it is one of my favourite songs.

Is that robot still active? Is andrew gardner on these forums, so I can discuss it with him?

Regards,
Sam

Parralax is just under 4" wide and about 4.5" long. I'm not sure if it would fit into the regulation cube, but it might if I put it in at a diagonal and bent it slightly, it's quite flexible you see. :D

I'm Jonathan by the way.

Haha. I've just had to chop some of the body off Brains (sumo) so that he fits inside the cube, so I know the feeling.

I am still in the design stages of 'Antlion' (the name will remain unless anyone objects to this, in which case, I will change it straight away). I am thinking about making this my main ant, so there will be a variation on what parts I will be purchasing listed in my original ant thread.

I will post an updated parts list for further viewing and advice here.

Looking good Will and Aaron :) as I understand it I'll be the one driving the strange melty brain spinner thing at the AWS, which will be...an experience...a fun experience hopefully, heh.

I'm working on a couple of new things myself:

Battery: 7.4v 2S 135mah EGO lipo pack
Construction: 3D printed chassis, 0.5mm carbon fibre and titanium panels
Weaponry: ...I don't know if anything will fit :P primarily a wedge, might have some spikes or a mystical damaging aura, or a picture of Richard O'Brien.

The Data Fields
Weight: 150g
Dimensions: 140 x 100 x 28 mm
Drive: 2 x 50:1 Inertia Labs/Sanyo copy gearmotors (...also ex-Jigsaw :P) driving tracks

Rx: Futaba R114F
Battery: 7.4v 2S 180mah EGO lipo pack

Just as an update. I have decided to change the name of my ant to "Seeker". I have checked the ant database and there is nothing there with the same name. Made this decision as it would be unfair to make a claim on a current name in use.

EDIT: Last name change now
