Tight budget shouldn't be much of a problem unless it's incredibly tiny, the motor costs ?26 and a brushless controller to run it will be about ?10, you might be able to shop around and pay less. I haven't clocked speed or anything, that's a bit technical for me :P but according to the specs it's 22...

http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/motor_eflite.html The top one on the page is what I've got in Little Yellow Taxi, it's quite easy to mount and wire up as well :) Micron do some other small brushless motors that might be worth a look into too...if you want to go brushed for whatever reason I'd lo...

Many thanks to the Orrs for a great event, I enjoyed myself more than I've ever done probably, despite being not that good :P Well done Andy - a phrase which I think I may become intimately familiar with - and also to Jack and Dan and Peter and James and everyone else who gave him a good run for his...

Best of luck everyone, hope tomorrow's a good one :)

Jigsaw isn't exactly working atm, it seems to be picking up a signal but the motors aren't responding at all...I'll bring the bits down to the event and see what can be done on the day. At least LYT is up and working :P

I'm liking the resurgence in the flea class, for some reason the challenge of building something smaller appeals to me :) Little Yellow Taxi Weight: at or around the 75g mark Drive: 2 (RW101 special!) 360 degree hacked Naros run off a 2 cell 180mah lipo Armour: 0.75mm polycarbonate, 0.5mm carbon fib...

There's no limit in the rules as to how many parts you can have - the main limits are likely to be practical: a) the weight/size limit - 20 grams is about as low as you can go for a normal ant and all parts have to fit in the 4 inch cube at once so eaach one has to be small - and b) if you have lots...

My HPXFs do a bit more than 90, maybe it varies from servo to servo?

That does look great though, hope mine can look that good one day :)

I'd definitely be up for it, date depending (my only no-go day would be Reading, and since you're presumably going to RRc that wouldn't be an issue :P)
