Re: antweight 3d printing
Off the top of my head they are about 12k in the basic form. Not cheap by any means but in comparison to a SLS machine it's cheap

Re: antweight 3d printing
I've looked at materials and machines a lot. For antweights you really want a laser sintering machine. They produce what shapeways calls White strong and flexible. It's a nylon compound. The methods of printing using wire like the abs machines create quite brittle pieces, like the printers until rec...

Re: Pop!
Sorry, didn't check that. corrected with the url now.
The wheels are 20.5 x 11.5 and weigh about 2.5g each I think. The new hub design may have changed that but I don't have an accurate set of scales here to confirm.

Re: Cubes
Cubes are now cut. I didn't receive many pre-orders so I made 10 4" cubes and 7 3" cubes. Because of this I had them cut from odd sheets so they are an attractive compilation of brown and cream pieces. Those who have paid for cubes and I have an address for will have them shipped tomorrow....

Several issues... I think the receiver is duff so I need to swap that out. I have fixed the leaks as best I can, the air escapes in about 5 minutes. when it reaches as low as 10 psi the shuttles move and fire which looks like this... http://s22.beta.photobucket.com/user/joshiv/media/IMG_2989.mp4.htm...

Re: Cubes
I received the cutting today... The pieces weren't cut right through... I have managed to break out the side pieces for 10 cubes but the bases and the flea cubes are useless. I have sent a complaint to the machinist and will have them re-cut hopefully next week. Worst comes to worse I will post the ...

Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!
agreed, the mass of the robot is still under 150g. The force created by a fan is a, well a force, so does not affect the weight of the robot.
You could always fill the robot with helium and expel it under remote when the fight begins? In fact that could be the solution to my obese pneumatics!

Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!
Am I missing something? How would you add weight via remote control?
I don't think suction counts as weight, it is applying a downwards force/pull. The mass of the robot remains constant.
