That's it Peter! Your arena is awesome! I know I have that thread saved where you detailed your build. I was really impressed with the quality of your work and sinking in the screws and fasteners into the lexan in the sides.
Thank you for posting that!

Re: Devo 7e
Interesting that there are issues with Win10. I use linux (Mint Sylvia), and didn't run into any problems that couldn't be fixed by a simple google. Glad you got it sorted! Maybe not. I'm pretty sure that it's a thing. I root my Samsung phones and that process is starting to fail with the newer mod...

Re: What is a team?
which is evidently the reason my 3rd tx has been modified back to driving on the right, weapon on the left... i am one of a few that drive on the left If you aren't left handed, do you attribute this to using the pistol grip first before switching to sticks? Do you do other things "goofy foote...

Re: What is a team?
A note with clusters: The Team that operates the Cluster must own all the transmitters that are used for driving the cluster. You can get a driver from another team to drive your other cluster part(s), but they'd need to use your transmitter. Thank you. This information is very helpful. I'm going t...

Re: What is a team?
i suppose its down to whatever you got used to when you first built a robot... i actually started with a pistol grip tx with a simple push button to activate 3rd channel... needed to make the switch to a stick tx so i had more options and found driving on the left with weapons on the right to suit ...

Re: Building an arena question
close, its actually 4mm minimum. but as stated, if its going to be for kids and as long as there are no high velocity weapons, thinner stuff will suffice. if you plan on allowing spinners then 4mm polycarbonate is the thinnest you can safely have (i have seen some 150g spinners easily get through 2...

Re: Building an arena question
Thank you! I really appreciate the suggestions! I think I sew that Chris hasn't posted here since 2017? So I didn't try to send him a PM. Yeah, I'm not too concerned about the price. Obviously I don't want to go crazy, so I can save money to spend on robot components, but I don't mind making a signi...

Building an arena question
Hi I attempted to start building some ants a few years ago, but life got in the way (had my workload triple due to others leaving then as soon as my work normalized my mom got sick and died) but I'm finally returning now that things seem to be calming down. I'm in the US and there is no antweight (f...

Hello - I'm going to build some ants
Hi, I just wanted to say Hi, my name is Matt, I'm a neuroscientist and am living/teaching in the US. I am going to build some ants in the next few months with my kids. I started to type up my questions and after it got to five pages of single spaced questions and I was still going I figured I needed...
