I have had both jabs plus the booster and have read the above requirements.

For anyone as unobservant as me the link for the signup is a couple of posts above and is open.

On the subject of allowing modified toys etc I assume they still have to fit the cube as well as meet the weight limit.

I like the classes it gives a chance to try things like axes out which are not normally very competitive in open classes. It will give me a chance to try out my more experimental robots like spring axe, spring flipper and slow sawtooth grabber that probably wouldn't get into the AWS team.

That is one nice robot can't wait to see it in combat.

Will the off the shelf items apply to robots based on the robotwars toys that some people have mechanized.

That is a nice looking and well thought out robot. The only slight worry is the very low ground clearance combined with the rear overhang would mean in a pushing contest any lifting at the front will result in the tyres losing contact with the floor and hence result in loss of grip.

I do all my ants in google Sketchup.
I have not tried any others so I can't say how they compare.

That's a mighty fine looking speed controller you have there.
