Re: Ant Freeze 6 - 2/2/19 - * Updated * Details & Signup
So if it does snow it's looking like I'm coming on the train, yikes early start but there's one that gets there about half 9 so should be ok. One way or another robot combat shall be had. @paul annihilator is some big rumble action and nuts is a game where a pile of big plastic nuts are in the middl...

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.
I don't have an exact number on the plastic but it's roughly a half and half split on weight between chassis/armour/wedge and then internals. Slightly more weight in the externals maybe. Thickness it's a mix. Baseplate/chassis is 1mm folded up to make a tray. The side panels and front panel that mou...

Hopefully I can drive well and do him justice! Looking forward to Saturday 🤘 https://i.ibb.co/HdZDxhp/20190130-022233.jpg https://i.ibb.co/M...

Re: Repairs
Interesting one IMO. Ship of Perseus thing. I feel like if it's recognisably the same robot, the back up chassis is identical to the broken one, then I would have no problem my opponent having more than one with them. Making a full switch to a new chassis in the pits between matches, particularly to...

Re: Team Shakey Build Diary
Ghost writer made me laugh when I saw you posted it on reddit and it still makes me smile. I've seen people posting post event pictures featuring his autographs too. Hey Shakey, the acetate strips you use for your wedges, are you just cutting a4 pieces down yourself or did you find somewhere to buy ...

I assume this is the walker you have been teasing? Look forward to seeing it. Does it use spinner forces to walk?

Re: hello
Check out the threads on the events page for Ant Freeze 6 and AWS 57. Both are in February so maybe one of those could work for you. There will probably be half a dozen or more through the year scattered around the country. Sounds like you got a good background for it with RC stuff and can jump righ...
