In answer to the above: At WS15 a few weeks ago I did rather well with SD200's. Odyssey uses straight SD200's as drive and to power the lifter and it got 2nd place. Have a look at SH Muffet, http://www.muffett.co.uk I can't see them on the site but the catalogue has plastic timing belts and pulleys. The downside is the robot uses a wobble in it's hips to walk rather than using knees. The arm movement makes up for it however.
