Another basic Q, you know that sticky rubber stuff the is often used on antweight wheels and tracks? Where do you get some? I use neoprene to grip up anti-depressant which worked fine and actually made it faster but it was quite thick and hard to use. :-?

I don't know about the motor but these wheels are 3.8 cm in diameter. You'll need to put traction on it so it's more like 3.9 cm which come to think about it is 4mm more that you asked for so I don't know why I bothered mentioning them. http://www.technobots.co.uk/acatalog/Polythene_Wheels.ht...

You're right I don't have a clue; but still, i get by on others' help. Yes that does make sense now thanx. On the description of the motor it said it does ###rpm at 5v, so I'm assuming I cold push it to 7.2v without damaging it.

Interestin' user info

Hi, Just thought I'd post some pointless trivia about my user, feel free to do the same. 22% of my posts (including this one) have contained smileys :D I've taken none of my criteria seriously so people looking at my profile will learn that: a) I live in a place called "who want's to know"...

I know this is getting slightly ridiculous with so many questions, in fact I should probably rename this thread "lots of basic questions" :-? . But any way: How much juice could I run through the motors I mentioned above without the risk of melting them or damaging them. Also if I hooked 4...

That's great! :D It's o.k, I'm not looking for speed at present and anyway, the wheles I'll be using are 3.5 cm across and, forgive me for estimating, jigsaw's wheels are probably smaller. Even if I still find them slow I'll buy more powerful ones and use them in the upgrading of another robot. Also...
