More bits and bobs.

Again a mornings work to report.

The flipper recieved the push-plate tube. Front armor remodelled a tad sleeker.
And the 2mm thick ali batterybox got the 2 dampeners.

Combined with more mundane shores, I found the time to cut and weld some Hardox.

A more convulted piece of plumbing. Trying to keep it as simple and light as possible, as wel small enough to give the bottles free passage, it was a fun-welding-experience. As Babeth remarked, The froglegs (drives) are hard to digest, but that tongue is as dangerous as that of a first class gossip.

In 2009, Froggy did tell about a heavy he was building. And when some promised bits didn't show up, a few of the Dutch (and 1 Belgian) roboteers (thanks Kos and Inventor) dove into the CAD programs, lasercutters, gearmilling machines, TIG welders and so on. My event report. Sorry for any bias or personal interpretation. Saturday late morning, Leo, Babs and me arrived at the venue, Greeted by Marien, the DRG chairman. A bit later, Kos (Tough As Nails) and Jeroen (New Gravity owner, and one of the Series 7 Gravity teammembers) arrived, with the DRG Arena...

First combat testing vs Hannibalito 3 on old, very hard concrete.

After finishing Hannibalito 4 it went to the scales. And that was a nasty surprice. 13.6kg, with almost empty bottle and no electronics.

So a rebuild happened , now with ali frame and some subtile changes the first test looked ok.
