Battery powered if we can, though I often also bring a 1-4 power adapter unit thingy.
Generally events are full of nice people who just want to help and offer anyone lacking tools use of theirs.

Re: Little help requested with a new bot - receiver, material sourcing etc. thanks.

you'll need to find some other way to supply 5v to the receiver. Not necessarily. Many recievers (for example the dsm2 feather lemon rx that I use) are rated to 2s. Check your reciever, but generally it's still a better idea to run the rx through a bec as it'll be less noisy. (as in the power won't...

Regarding printing, I know shakey had success with abs and I know Peter has success with nylon filaments. I pers...

Re: What is a team?

A note with clusters: The Team that operates the Cluster must own all the transmitters that are used for driving the cluster. You can get a driver from another team to drive your other cluster part(s), but they'd need to use your transmitter.

Re: AWS'60 Results Analysis

If I made one, it would suck. I don't believe that for a second! Now MY spinners are gonna suck. Mostly because I'm insisting on using parts I found in skips (BLDCs from old CD drives, the bar itself is gonna be kitchen knife steel, etc), but also because I'm planning to have the spinner off-center...

Re: Devo 7e

Interesting that there are issues with Win10. I use linux (Mint Sylvia), and didn't run into any problems that couldn't be fixed by a simple google.

Glad you got it sorted!

Re: Devo 7e

I'm getting the same thing... that's weird.

I might still have the files kicking around somewhere on my machine. I'll have a look, and if I do I'll stick them on my own google drive and link you to them?
