Re: ESCs and channel mixing
Yep, there's no mixing on a FT tinyesc, it's a single channel esc so there isn't anything to mix. Some dual esc's come with mixing, some don't, and some can be switched between mixing and not mixing. As the others have said the best option would be to get a transmitter that supports mixing, like Lim...

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
I might have missed something but... I'm seeing various mentions of 'Sheffield' and 'September' in relation to AWS 59 but can't find any details (and nothing on Antlog). If this is 'a thing' then it would help if someone could start a thread with whatever details are known at this stage. They said ...

Re: Coping with the demand (An EO's perspective)
While I've not been an EO, I certainly agree with the issues you've raised regarding long term sustainability. Regarding numbers of bots and time restraints; I think that 128 entries should remain a hard limit (and this could even be reduced), Chris, I know you've talked about developing antlog to c...

Many thanks to Chris and all the other helpers for yet another fantastic event. Completing a double elimination event with 123 robots in one day is no mean feat.

Wow that's a lot of antweights!
Don't panic though Chris, I'm sure it should be manageable. We had 104 at AWS57 and that finished with over an hour to spare, even with a lunch break. The key was definitely getting started early.

Re: Team Pompidou First Antweight Build/Questions
The switch should be added between the battery plug and the dasmikro, on the positive (red) wire. Good luck with soldering the dasmikro, they're very delicate.

Re: A Hotel, constructed of Limas, for Ants: A Build Diary
Regarding the overheating servo, it probably can't move through its full range of motion due to the linkage. So at one end of its travel the servo is constantly stalled, which will quickly heat it up. The solution is to program the servo end points on the transmitter.

Re: Fishy Electronics - DisinfectANT , Cilit BANG
I wouldn't be too worried about the counterweight, it shouldn't get hit, and it's going slower anyway. The bits that look marginal to me are between the central hub and the edge of the bar, particularly by that mounting hole, and along the threaded holes that the tooth screws into. Polycarb is a gre...

Wow, a polycarbonate weapon bar is certainly a brave choice. I'm not saying it definitely won't work, but you might want to have a backup plan just in case! It's still looking beautiful though.
