i've considerd making the SmartBoard v2 inculde a dsmx reciver but couldnt find a good source of a chip with firmwere to do so. the board design for bluetooth is bassicly ready but softwere will need to be devloped hopefully to alow for lost of diffrent control methods such as phone apps or blutooth...

Thicker is better, but I wouldn't expect any thickness to take a direct hit from a spinner so don't worry about it. Around 3 to 4 mm wall thickness will take a good hit from a spinner and still hold together. but only if hit along the wall and not an edge. i use ABS with 50% infill most of the time...
