Re: Part recommendation

Those bearings are for the motor stator (inside shell) to run on the shaft, they will fit on the shaft on the motor, but you would need something that fits around the shaft of the threaded section. Usually 4mm or 5mm. I would look at something like a MR104 BEARING FOR A 4MM shaft (something like htt...

Re: Antweight first build diary

That's looking really good! With the motor controller, you can remove the aluminium plate off the backs the heat generated from the use in antweights is minimal, meaning you can have more weight free. Anyone second this to confirm?

Re: New Nanoweight Arena

I have used something at my workplace which would be fantastic to use as a lowering arena pit, perhaps if you have some dimensions of the size of pit, i can mock something up here and make some? could have an automatic pit release firing it off too... This can also be scaled to antweight size... wil...

If you have the weight allowance, i would have some bolts bolting the perforation to the angle in case it is hit by a spinner and knocks the lid off :)
Or tape around it!

Re: Cheap components for an antweight class

Sounds like a good idea, Having common parts that could be used for legal battles would be beneficial, such as the motor controller, RX, commonly used motors would inspire attendees to continue in the competition fields. Using servos as drive controllers would be ok, perhaps a load of 9g servos, abo...
