Personally, I don't have a problem with ants being made from billets although it seems from what people have been saying that the main reason for keeping rule k was to stop this.

I have just been re-reading this discussion and one thing occured to me- seeing as the main motivation for keeping rule k was to stop people building ants from metal billets (which is fair enough). Although the ants that started this were made from 0.5mm aluminium sheet- which is just as damageable ...

Hi, Ant Awe, Ant and Dec were not designed to compete in the AWS, they were made to play around with between the heavyweight and featherweight fights at roaming robots and robots live and the current versions will definately not be at an AWS. I would love to come to an AWS at some point- The next ve...

Thanks for running the ants this weekend, it was great to be able to enter Ant Awe into a proper competition. Well done to Simon with Dynamite for winning the non spinners and to the other winners as well. Ant Awe is getting a couple of small changes (faster motors are first on the to do list) but I...

I will be taking 3 ants along this weekend (2 which I have built for others).

Alex from team Blitz will also be taking one.

We are also trying to get an arena done for next week so that we could run multiple fights simultaneously. (thats assuming that you are taking yours Dave)
