Re: deodorANT & friends
Anoptimistprime here is how I have attached a blade to the rebuild of Combatant. The hub is 6.4mm thick PCB material and the blades yet to be sharpened is 12mm x 3mm stainless steel both off ebay. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n66/PeterW_2006/CIMG1523.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n66...

Re: Mad Metal Machines Volume 13
Finance permitting , I'd be quite keen to see how the Germans react to an inflatable sheep being put into their arena.

Re: Arenarules
When I built my RL arena it was meant to have removable walls do robots could be pushed out, but I prefer my own arena with the 4 walls you can flip over (or through in a few cases) and the pit in the corner, takes a bit more skill. I beg to disagree Dave. It takes no skill at all to fall into that...

my greatest moment 8) http://i947.photobucket.com/albums/ad315/haz-teamcombatpenguin/153.jpg Oh, oh, I see! Running away, eh? You yellow bot steward! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your wheels off! (With apologies to Monty Python) No, just kidding Haz, I'm not resentful. I ...

Re: Snibston 27th December 2011
N/A. It's not replacing anything to some extent. Napalm Death is fine, so long as the batteries charge. It's for a new build I'm making. I need to change a steering servo to something that works with a radio kit. It's currently run from a external PCB with RX.haz wrote:what brand is it?

Re: Snibston 27th December 2011
Sorry to post but does anyone have a servo, with a 4mm shaft & 22mm width between the mounting tabs, that I can borrow for this event?

Re: Snibston 27th December 2011
I'll think I'll focus on the Team Champs, if that's all the same Dave. I want to prove I can succede in the trials & not completely useless.
Maybe some non spinner combat after. I'm generally there to enjoy myself rather than win.

Re: Snibston 27th December 2011
Sorry but I have no idea where else to put this:
Can anyone recommend me a Servo 'easily' modifiable into a motor speed controller? It's a fairly sizable motor.
Oh & a lifter servo about 40g. Cheers.

Re: Snibston 27th December 2011
I'm in need of more robots for this event, if you wish to come or plan to come, PLEASE sign up on the sheet on page one. I would but I don't want to land any team captain with the handicap that is me & Napalm Death. If you really want to win badly, I don't wish to risk their chances. Any Volunt...
