ESC questions & why not USA shipping
I am going to use this thread to ask some esc questions. I apologize for the simplicity, I've written and rewritten this and I've stalled now, having read back through 2015 all the esc posts in this questions forum. 1. The top question is why do so few ship to the US? ARC, Rory, BBB - don't ship to ...

Re: How to wire an antweight
This is really a great guide, thank you for posting it! This should not be construed as criticism at all, I'm grateful for the article and I am working my way through it. I just wanted to point out that the link to the article on voltage controllers is broken. It happens, I just wanted to let you kn...

Re: Some driving questions
First, one contest when I saw some really good drivers were using 6WD bots they appeared to be moving in slow motion at first. They appeared to be using a different speed initially for more precise driving when their bots could easily drive at double the speed. Was this a setting on their tx they c...

Re: What is a team?
i think he may mean robox... team effort/oink cluster the precursor to littlest oink, pigsty and their piggy pals... Yes, robox I think based on rewatching. Did that become a team that the two ends open instead of the whole thing and the flea or nano team oink bot rests inside and drives out? I've ...

Re: What is a team?
So my favorite bots I see are the ones that are game changers, especially the odd ones. Rbmk, the mantis bot, the oragami bot (I'm sorry I don't know its name) the ones really unique. The origami bot? I honestly have no idea which one you're referring to. Could you timestamp a fight that it's in? I...

Re: Some driving questions
Also, Betsie's "super clever" control system (which uses gyroscopic stabilisation) causes it to drive like a pile of dog poo. I have tried many changes to the control software to improve it, but I've never got it to be very usable. I'm beginning to think that putting more intelligence int...

Some driving questions
Hi I'm pretty new so I will likely be asking some simplistic questions. One that occured to me from watching drivers face off in the arena is what exactly am I watching? I've read about mixing (either on a chip or on the bot) making all steering (forward, reverse, back, forward) on one stick. I thin...

Re: Building an arena question
i have no complaints about lag with my i6... although the reddit post has some misinformation, the i6 has 20 model memory, not 6 like someone commented... i wouldn't recommend the i6s either... it sure looks pretty but is lacking a few features the i6 has... like supporting afhds (the older protoco...

Re: Building an arena question
i got all mine from ebay... one was £25 (no receiver) one £30 and the other £35 both with receivers... purchased at different times so really i guess its down to whatever the sellers want to sell them for at the time of buying... a quick search on ebay shows them for £30-£35 mainly with a few in th...
