I think I will be coming but I am not 100% and still have to work out the final faults with the robot first though it is just the top armour, flipper arm and a servo lead to go. Hopefully I will know by tuesday.

Lipo-Battery failures?

I was sitting down watching Tv about 5 minutes ago when I heard a strange sound coming from my robot. After investigating it seems my Lipo battery died. but here is the thing that gets me... everything was switched off and the battery wasn't fully charged or dangerously low. It didn't do the typical...

I have tried searching for titanium but I haven't found any shops and all the internet ones sell it in large sheets and need ridiculous delivery charges. Eventually I plan to upgrade but for now I'll try and keep the 1.5 facing the spinner. Hopefully there won't be too much damage (who am I kidding,...

However today I decided to do some serious work and now I have upgraded to this: http://i685.photobucket.c...

Thankyou, Yeah the main thing that has been stopping me attending is the lack of armour that would mean my robot being spread out all over the arena. :D As to the original design of this thread that is gone now. Instead I am making 2 robots (sharing receiver, ESC and lipo until I get seperate ones.)

I assume it is tried and tested but how does entering multiple robots work?

Would it possible to brign 2 robots. One for the warm up and one for the proper fight? If the proper fight one has weaponry that means it can't take part in the warm up.
