Re: Ant Freeze 6 - 2/2/19 - * Updated * Details & Signup
Ant Freeze was great fun, thanks for hosting. Looking forward to the next one. Since we were short on time & you have several ideas for mini-games maybe you could have a second arena for the games? If you imposed a no spinner rule for the games you probably wouldn't need to do much work for it s...

Re: Team Shakey Build Diary
Gotta say I loved both these bots. You can add me to the list of people still finding the odd bit of glitter in my bots :D Still Glitterbot was a lot of fun in it's own weird way. Ghost Writer is a cool concept too, I noticed others were picking up the idea. IMO it would be interesting if there were...

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
OK a bit later than I had originally planned but I've finally gotten around to building my 1st ant in time for ant freeze. It's nothing too special, a basic polycarbonate wedge bot. Introducing You Break It, You Bought It!! https://ibb.co/ydtdsBd

Re: Repairs
Hi Paul
Most people bring spare components to competitions (motors, wheels etc) so changing them is fine. Not sure about an entire new chassis though, you'd probably have to ask the EO on the day. I don't think too many people would have an issue though.
Regards
James

Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol
There was a camera set up so I'm sure there will be footage going up at some point.

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
Well, AWS56 was a lot of fun, even if my performance was hit & miss. Thanks to Dave, Joe & all the BBB guys for putting on a great event. Congrats to Team Oink on a well deserved win, utterly dominating the tournament. I learned a lot here that will help me going forwards. My new flipper bot...
