Re: Best glue for wheely loose wheels?

One of my Ants has its wheels glued on with a Locite Superglue which hasn't failed me yet. However, be warned, overzealous gluing (assuming it is a N20) will cause the gearbox to lock up if it gets onto the gears.

Following on from the pilot, we are sticking with the Church so this event will be running on the 23rd of March at the following location from 11:00 - 17:00 . St. Lukes Church Poult...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

The size feels OK, plenty big enough for a mass rumble of most of the Ants that went to the BotFest pilot back in July but small enough to prevent no battling in 1v1 fights. Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

Looks neat, very slightly smaller than mine (81cm square). Polycarbonate sides and roofing shouldn't be too hard.

Re: Arena surface material

My arena uses 12mm hardwood plywood flooring, similarly not fixed down and segmented into two sections for flat pack convenience. It is also primed and painted. Having used it at the BotFest pilot, it works fine as far as I can see.

Re: Attempting at an event and possible webseries....

I'd possibly be interested, depends on where and when it might be.

It should be noted, building an arena is a bit of a undertaking to build as I found. Might not be so much of an issue if it is a non-spinner event but worth bearing in mind.
