Re: TinyTwo Speed Controllers

Hi Rory, thanks for getting back, do you know what it could be the cause, if it's the drivers themselves or the negative wire just touching the positive side of the capacitor in between as the heat causes the wire sheath to creep? I'd like to get it repaired so I can use it again, will check the spe...

Re: TinyTwo Speed Controllers

So... I got my stuff out again to build a new antweight, not that I have yet competed with anything, nor built a bot worthy of the arena! But I plugged in my N2LVHP board to a 2s 350mah zippy lipo and smoke started to appear... I strip the heat shrink back to see if there is damage and although I ca...

Re: Controversial Completion of a Cluster

I dont think it did, but if it didnt just file off the tab, fits perfectly.

Edit:

Although, if its for an ant, you may as well cut it off and solder directly to save some weight!

Re: Controversial Completion of a Cluster

I have one of these, and they are 3 pin connectors on the other socket side, just one pin is not connected. Normally if they are the 2 pin battery connections, these sockets are red.

Re: Another New Antweight..

I have some nine eagles lipo s and battery sockets which I used on some test bots and on DELLApidated bANTry I have 2 single cell 260mah batteries from hobbyking in series cost 55p each. The socket was the costly bit, but handy to fit in the batteries into tight places.

Re: Another New Antweight..

Those look good, 3 dollars per motor, I must admit my cheaper eBay motors have had some failures, and mine haven't been in a fight yet...

Be interesting how they price the package with regards to importing...
