Re: Small BotBitz ESC.

I really haven't even looked at this. Instead I got distracted with a 1S board design with a voltage doubler, charger, dual channel ESC & Bluetooth onboard.

Re: Small BotBitz ESC.

I will probably be placing an international warehouse order in the next few weeks.

If you want a pair let me know and I will add it on.

Re: My first bot

I honestly had never considered it without the shell. Just checked on website and apparently you can. You just don't pick a shell colour. However it's probably cheaper to just get the parts separately if you are willing to do a bit of soldering. But if you want a plug and play solution then the kit ...

Re: Yet Another Antweight Speed Controller

Code to do this has been freely available since end of 2011. So I wouldn't expect a bunch of people to start programming them. And not one person ever contributed to my open source development so goodluck with that too. Also I spent maybe 100hrs helping people program their own avr version ones with...

Re: TinyTwo Speed Controllers

Impressive. Everyone seems to say I could make an ESC for cheaper, which has more amps and more features but very few actually follow through.

Again nice work. Looks good and be keen to hear how it goes with testing.

Small BotBitz ESC.

So one of our builders suggest I mod this esc from HK. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__37943__Hobbyking_YEP_7A_1_2S_Brushless_Speed_Controller_No_Wire_Version_.html Looks about the same as the 6A plush which I have done in the past, but claims 0.7g with no wires. Is there any interest in ...

Re: Which 3D printer is best for home use

Adding a small PC fan inside the vapour bath will make a huge difference. Usually easier than rotating the part you will find too that the vapour rises so rotating may not have the desired effect. Oh and PC fans are pretty much always brushless too. (I would double check) My rice cooker has a vent h...

Re: Which 3D printer is best for home use

The acetone treatment is a trade off between smoothness and size constraints most of the time. The more you smooth it the more melty it gets and may change shape. I prefer the rice cooker, as you just throw in 2 cap fulls of acetone. Wait until you can see the vapour condensing on the lid. Turn off ...
