Yeah it does skew the field, this arena was our first one from years ago. Was supposed to be rebuilt with a pit that lowers after the first minute like the other states arenas but it didn't get done in time. No one seems to like the concept of the drop offs here considering any spinner just ricochet...

Cheers :) It makes a mockery of the 4" rule thats for sure haha. Tis roughly 160mm wide 50 long and 15 tall, and yep the blade is 15mm shorter on one end. with the waist ground into the longer side to counterweight it, its the same thickness all along its length. I'll snap a pic of it if needed...

Heres some pics of my attempt at an ant for our robot serial killer event in aus next weekend. Just have to do the top and bottom panels then install the guts! Its a 130mm diameter titanium bar spinner belt driven off a 5g hextronic motor :) (and no it doesnt fit in a 4 inch cube haha, its about 150...

Nice work Glen and Ben, Ben: is your axe meant to creep back like that on its own and does it stall ? Glen: That thing looks huge, no way does that fit the cube, but you guys don't use the rule for that.
