I don't know about any of the little receivers... but I've been putting 7.2 v through my more standard sized ones with no problems.

I'm a big fan of the Electrifly Triton charger since it can do pretty much anything you need, Nicad, NiMH, Lithium, and SLA. Needs an external power supply though, I've heard of a bunch of people taking them out of computers and modifying them for a cheap supply.

I'd say brackets are the only way to go for screws, its much too thin to tap into.

I've heard of some people using a special glue that chemically melts polycarbonate together, basically making it one solid piece, can't remember what its called though.

There used to be one Kilobot event in the US, but then they switched to the 3 lber beetle class.

The only other Kilobots I know of (and compete lots in!) is in Canada.
