Re: AWS 47 - Stoke Sub Hampton - July 4th 2015
I still need to work out if I can make this one. Hopefully will as I've got some updated ants to try out.

Will's Fleaweights.
I suppose it's about time I had a thread for my fleas :) I've had a lot of sub standard fleas lately (apart from Mini Red) so I thought it was time that I built some new ones :) First up to join the team is Hex. As the name suggests its a 6 wheel drive pusher which uses 6 of the new Shockbots 'Nanob...

Re: Team Shock's Build Diary
Now I've got the printer back to full working order I've managed to start on the upgraded ants- I'm currently printing the new Quake (the new version of White) but I managed to get Inertia 12 printed first- its basically Inertia 11 with a few mods (as the design worked very well). I'm keeping 11 wor...

Re: Team Shock's Build Diary
I've been quietly working since the AWS to get my ants going again. They will mostly be staying the same with some slight changes and I do have a couple more planned in the future. The main one has been to rebuild White after the flipper got ripped off in its first fight at the last AWS. This requir...

Re: Possible summer event (not AWS)- University of Reading
I hadn't seen that Rhys was planning a similar event- if he would would prefer to run an event that's completely fine with us. We would like to run one at some point so that we can try some changes to our setup without the pressure of a big AWS. As for the stream itself I am leaning towards Twitch f...

Possible summer event (not AWS)- University of Reading
Hi Guys, I've been reading through the comments on the rules thread about wanting to try some different things at an event without it being an AWS and may be able to offer a solution. Mark and I have also been discussing a potential new venture to try to improve the stream aspects of our events and ...

Re: AWS 46- University of Reading- 28th March 2015
I would just like to say a huge well done to everyone for coming to and supporting the AWS yesterday- even with a few last minute drop outs we still achieved a record 101 robots in the main competition which is absolutely fantastic! :) Well done to all of our winners. Ants: 1st- A little bit of fail...

Re: AWS 46- University of Reading- 28th March 2015
As previously mentioned sign ups have now closed and the link removed from the first post. Even with people that we know can no longer make it we should still be on over 100 robots in the main event which is fantastic :) A couple of points which I would like to remind people of for tomorrow. 1. The ...

Re: AWS 46- University of Reading- 28th March 2015
I must say that this is looking to be one hell of a competition :) I know that there's at least 7 ants on the list which are not entering but even so I reckon we should still hit 100 in the main event even with a couple of robots not entering which is pretty damn cool! :) I've got the plan under con...
