Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

Finally! Back to robot building… carrying on my theme of borrowing ideas I borrowed the concept of This is a party from Ben of team Panic. I had to model it from scratch using OnShape, which was fun. Massively unbalanced weapon. Oh and it’s fully plastic. I intend to keep it that way, Just for...

Re: Turnigy i4X

Yes I use these.

They have been excellent for me, cheap but come with mixing and direction controls. During a fight if your bot gets flipped you can flick the switches to invert the controls. They also work for your ESC.

I know my reply is completely out of date...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

well those are slightly crude... I’m not the first to borrow them. Hehe! I messaged the original designer(Ben from team panic) and he said the more people building the better and he’s happy for anyone to sell the design... however I will be making my own robots to sell (like my flip-it design)l. Th...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

Wow! It’s been a while since my last post...It’s exam season in schools so I’ve been very busy, in combination with my 3D printer breaking again/Chinese modules being duds. All my building has been on hold. :( I’ve been working on building arduino based robots that can be made cheaply with either a ...

Re: Malenki-ESC open source Antweight ESC

This looks awesome, however I’m a little confused. Does this only work through a single signal wire?

All 3 Signal wires are through 1 wire??

Re: Possible escs ?

Yes these work fine.

You have to balance their heavy weight compared to other ESC which are much lighter but much more expensive.

You can desolder the large capacitor to save some weight.
