Re: Coping with the demand (An EO's perspective)
3 bots per team did seem to shake it all up a bit. Certainly if the 128 robot limit must remain its better to have more teams able to take part with one less bot each for the biggest/veteran teams. I would be a bit sad if a permanent move to 3 bots each included a 2 wheeled bots only clause though b...

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
More thoughts after some sleep @ Dave. Baphomet was one of my aforementioned new favs to look out for. That and Kyro's Mantis Grappler joined my list of admiration. I'm glad George got his title. That team of ants definitely deserves one. What a showing by Trigger too though! When was the last time ...

Yeah that was spot on. I very much enjoyed. Kudos to Chris and anyone who helped with running. The field of bots seems better than ever too. Some of those nasty weapon bots are getting scarily reliable. I got me a couple new favs to watch out for in future events too. You all build some awesome stuff.

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
Getting excited for this now we're into June. Haven't been on here much or able to do any new bots or anything due to moving house and other hectic things these past few months but both my existing ants *should* be good to go. There is a lot of bodge job repair work involved and I'm running rather l...

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.
So the plan before Ant Freeze was I would recycle Manticore after and make something else but his spirited effort won me round on him a bit and with me still having one more 50:1 motor I bought as a spare for the hammer - he lives on yet to fight again at another event. The full list of repairs requ...

Another later in the year would be amazing. Only real feedback request I got would probably already be fixed if you got antlog going and that's being able to find out your upcoming opponents a bit quicker once the groups are drawn. Otherwise the whole thing is a good time and kudos to you and the fa...

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.
Totally unexpected results for Ant Freeze 6! Colour me surprised. Third Law who I had decent hopes for had a good start in the Nuts game, winning it's heat and getting into the semis. Alas it was a rapid downhill from there. In the tournament it failed to win a fight, getting pitted by team Oink's w...

Re: GeorgeR's robots
It looks bonkers and I can't wait to see it spun up and is it just me or does it have a robot crab/crustation look going on? Those top bolts for little shrimp eyes and the little vert spinners look like mandibles.
