Re: Armour /chassis material
I would disagree that polycarb is easy to bend and stays put at room temp, as I have found 1mm PC to be quite difficult to bend (at least, without proper equipment), and also quite springy (it won't go back to being flat, but it won't hold a 90 degree bend). If you want to bend PC, I'd recommend eit...

Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol
Has entry for the main tournament closed? Can't seem to find a button to enter, but the state is 'registration'. Apologies if I'm being dumb about this

Quick question about switches/plugs etc.
according to the current AWS rules: 2c) Robots must have an externally accessible way of being shut down (e.g. a power switch, removable link or battery plug). This would seem to allow for the removal of power by simply disconnecting the battery from the rest of the electronics (e.g. pulling apart t...

Speed controllers- how many channels?

Trying to reach Rory
I'm not sure if it's decorum to ask about specific other roboteers here, so if it's not, let me know. I've been trying to contact RapidRory to answer some questions about and then order some Nanotwos, through this forum and email, but I haven't got a response for quite a while. Is there some other w...

Sharing parts between two or more ants
Hi all, I'm new here and I'm wondering what, if any, rules there are regarding the sharing of components between two bots. For example, if I wanted to, could I build and enter two bots bound to a single controller, or enter two separate bots with individual chassis but with only one set of electroni...
