I am getting a flipper kit from shockbots.co.uk

I decided on a kit because of my lack of knowledge. I feel the kit is a good deal as I can see myself throwing money away on the wrong bits. I hope to get to the meet in Oxfordshire so I will seek everyone out. I'll have something to bring with me so fingers crossed it'll work.

Thanks guys. Do you think it might be better if I buy a flipper kit and have that as my first? When I've met some of you and seen what goes into a spinner, then look to build one?

Thanks Dave. I agree, it might be a tad ambitious but I love spinners and I love 259. Any tips you could give me for a spinner?
