Spinner not spinning
Hi there, my son (12 years old) needs a little help with his first Antweight robot. It is a spinner controlled by a Spektrum DXE. The problem is the spinner isn't spinning. It has an Orange RXR410 receiver. When we power it up we get three rising beeps, but the spinner does not respond to the transmitter. The wheels respond OK. The speed controller is different on the spinner to the ones on the drive motors. The spinner motor's ESC is a Racerstar RS30A Blheli 2-4s brushless. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Spinner not spinning
Most brushless controllers require the channel controlling them to be at a minimum when they start up.
Assuming you are running it from the throttle channel that should be fully closed or normally back.
Some times you even need to have the trim fully back as well.
If the channel is reversed on the transmitter you might need it to be fully forward.

We tried it like you said, Peter . We are still getting the three beeps and nothing else. Could it be a problem with the receiver?peterwaller wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 6:13 pm Most brushless controllers require the channel controlling them to be at a minimum when they start up.

Re: Spinner not spinning
The three beeps mean power is getting to the controller at least. If you could do pictures or a video it might be easier to diagnose.
Does the motor twitch at all or completely nothing? Can it spin without a blade/load attached?

Hi Peter and Dave,
We worked out the receiver was faulty. Finally got it working with a new receiver this week, just in time for Antweight World Series 55. Thanks for your help.
