It's running. Killer-Wolf 2 is now working, now at 147g it just needs a label.

After some dremel work to sand out some rough finishes left by the printing supports I started transferring the logo and label from Killer-Wolf 1.5 to Killer-Wolf 2.0 (unless it puts it over weight). Also finally got Alex’s (Shakey) wheels fitted too, bit of a tight fit on the D shafts so I hope I don’t need to remove them any time soon.

Decals added and another weight check, weighing it more then once to make sure I’m not getting a inaccurate reading averaging 148g-149g so it’s in weight. So I can safely say Killer-Wolf 2.0 is ready (technically it was already good to go for AWS 53 but couldn’t go due to travel limitations) So while I have to wait for the next event I’ll try to get spare flipper parts printed along with spare polycarb panels cut.

So on another note Jessica has told me she prefers to use the sticks on the DX5e in regards to driving but she is only comfortable with using the throttle cutout on the DX6i to fire the flipper, I can't blame her, it's very handy. So I looked into how possible is it to add a throttle cut out I found a tutorial on how to add one but it used a toggle switch so can any one recommend a push button I could fit into one of the spare holes for the DX5e.

The main reason is cause Jessica tends to panic under pressure in the arena thats cause she doesn't get much practise against another robot, so I want to make it more easier for use to run two bots at the same time.

A switch like this might be suitable: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pushbutton-sw ... .l4275.c10

You will have to open up the Dx5 and check how much space you have against the size of the component. Don't forget to check the depth behind the panel so that the connectionns on the back of the switch don't short out on anything.

If this one is too big/small, then Google "sub-miniature pushbutton switch" and you should be able to find something suitable.

Been a while, I've been focusing on my featherweight lately, but I've been working most of the day working on a new bot concept based on a bot I build in Garry's Mod. As you'll see bit of a change from flipper bots I'm mostly building.

I've most likely gone a little ambitious with it mostly cause I didn't realise how big the brushless motors used in this weight class are (green cylinder in the background). Granted I'm still at the stage where I'm still considering what weight class to build this in, so who knows might be a Antweight might not be.
