First AWS I'm gonna miss sadly; It's 8 hours there and back, and for a one day event where I haven't got any new bots to test out it's just a bit far.

Not sure exactly how these streams normally work, however the ones ive seen have an arena camera along with one on the organisers desk to call out competitors and potentially do commentary.coolspeedbot wrote:2nd camera for commentary? not sure what you mean there.Garfie489 wrote: Similarly i dont know how to put a 2nd camera for potential commentary on.
Guessing the other option is to show the screen through the stream.

Oh I see, can I ask what streaming software you using? I've used OBS and multi cam is possible, but I think we can get away with 1 cam on the arena.

AWS streams normally use a single camera, you don't have huge deadtime between fights to fill like most events.Garfie489 wrote: Not sure exactly how these streams normally work, however the ones ive seen have an arena camera along with one on the organisers desk to call out competitors and potentially do commentary.

Ok cool thatll be fine then - yeh if anyones got a good wide angle camera that could record the whole arena thatd be brilliant
Worst case scenario ill use my own, however as said - i think we may have some blind spots.

I have just been looking at the layout of the site on google maps and it seems to be different to the map at the beginning of this topic.
The road we finally turn into and presumably park on the map posted seems to be fenced off and the next one after it is marked as an exit.
It might just be that google is out of date but can you just confirm which is correct and is the parking free.
Also are you running the event using Antlog and if so have you set it up on a local machine as I have just looked at the site on line and it looks like it is something that would need to be setup in advanced.
I am not sure if any of those signed up have any experience of running Antlog 3 we usually rely on Gary who doesn't seem to be coming.

Rats! Seen this too late as I won't be ready in time. Hopefully I'll have my ant finished in time for the next AWS!
Greenwich is a pretty good location. Are there likely to be more events held here?
