Nearly finished, but now I need to adjust the weight as the flipper has pushed it over 150g.

Robot without flipper and hinge= 127g
Robot with flipper and hinge= 160g

cutting the weight is going to be fun.

selection of images of Killer-Wolf, still got some work to do and weight to cut down. When Killer-Wolf was using 1mm polycarb, it was weighing around 118g and able to summersault back onto its wheels when it self-rights, with 1.5mm its now 147g about 30g added. Now I need to do a lot of weight shedding, I'm open to suggestions.

Been trying to test Killer-Wolf and not happy with the results, drive is fine but the flipper is driving me up the wall.

It lacks any strength both in flipping and self-righting, I just don't know where i'm going wrong.

I reckon that if you are getting the power for the servo from the receiver, then the servo is only running on the regulated +5V from the NanoTwo.

What I believe you should do is connect the servo power leads directly to the battery in parallel with the NanoTwo controller to give it the full LiPo voltage it needs.

Hope that works for you. Fantastic looking machine.

As antroboteer mentions you're missing a ton of power by not having the red wire from the servo directly connected to the LiPo (The black can stay on the nano two, that doesn't matter).

Oh I see, totally forgot that the receiver is only getting 5 volts. Thanks for the help guys.

If possible could someone show me how they approached this with their own bots just I have a rough idea of what it should look like.
