We hope to have more than the two entries I`ve signed up so far and we`ve also got a flea up and running (Zoni).
Looking forward to it!

Thanks for the hard work Gary :).

May I please bring everyone's attention to this sentence from the original post:

"Please only sign up Antweights on AntLog. Nanos and Fleas will have a separate sign up on the day."

If you have more than 4 robots signed up on AntLog, we will be contacting you to ask which ones are your main ant team. Similarly, if you sign up a flea or a nano, it's going to be entered in the main competition which is going to cause us extra work when the error is realised and we have to remove it.

Thanks for your co-operation :).

Scott, it's probably easiest just to delete the robots on the day. All entries have to be confirmed (usually during tech checks makes most sense) so it's easy to just confirm 4 and delete the rest.

It would help if people read the instructions though :P

Antlog does not enforce an entry limit since it could be used for non-AWS events where a larger team size is allowed, or a smaller limit may be required in the future...
Similarly, it is perfectly legal to enter a flea into an antweight contest (if you're brave!) so it's not prohibited by the program. I do plan to add an "Are you sure?" popup if the robot class doesn't match the event class, but it won't be done this week!

Comments, suggestions, bug reports always welcome by PM, email, or via http://robotwars101.org/forum/viewtopic ... 0&start=60

Hi all!

Sign-ups will be closing at midnight on Thursday. In order to make our lives easier, please ensure you have signed up by then!

Additionally, if you know any roboteers who seldom visit the forum or who haven't signed up yet, please give them a poke for me :).

Thanks!

Hi all!

Sign-ups are now officially closed! We had a good few last-minute entries that have pushed us up to 70 registered robots total. I know some of these aren't ants, and I believe there's at least one person who's unable to make it, but we've still got a reasonable number.

As usual, if anyone has an extension reel or a plug gang they can bring, it would be very helpful. I believe Joey has organised arenas and cubes with the relative people (thanks Joey!), so all I've got left to do is get the stream hardware set up this evening, and we're ready to go!

Hi all!

Big thanks to Joey, Tracy, and a surprise appearance from Dave Weston for helping me get the venue all set up this evening. Due to the extra manpower, there's not much left to do in the morning, so as a change from the advertised schedule, we won't be at the venue until 9am. I doubt anyone was intending on arriving before this anyway, but thought it was worth mentioning!

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow :D

You're very welcome :) I still feel a bit bad for not having done that much organising as a nominal co-organiser, but glad I could help somehow!

I'm all ready, or as ready as I'm likely to be - Jigsaw 64 is all ready and flipping (but not self righting) and driving in a straight line (protip: check the codes on the motors match, even if the gearboxes and brands do!), and the S. D. F.s have been dusted down and the damage from Alex and Rory at Ant Freeze patched up. Really looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and having a lot of fun - Tracy's nervous but excited about meeting everyone too :)

Hope you all sleep well and have a safe trip up (or down) to Coventry, and good luck!
