Re: AWS47 - Yeovil area - July 4th 2015

Looking into trains for this (we're now staying in London) and the earliest we could be at that station is 10am. I'm guessing it'll be a similar story for others coming by train on the day.
1) How far is that station from either proposed venue?
2) Is a later arrival time going to impact on the event timings?

i have entered a TBC fleaweight walker as i'm not sure i'll get it built in time. if i am going to build it, i'd better get started soon. it will have an MLG name like 360 no scope. i'm thinking either get the camera or illuminatti confirmed

Are you sure you don't want to just camp out on our farm Dave? Other people are and it would make things a lot easier :P

Does "camp out" mean camping? (asks Gemma)

We have 72 acres in which to pitch a tent... Otherwise if camping's not your thing we have a few spare sofas :P

We could really do with a venue postcode. Looking at a few cheap n cheerful hotels in Yeovil but would have no idea how far they are from where we'd need to be! Unless you can recommend a hotel Rors?
I know camping on your farm is free and its a nice offer but this is our holiday and I'm lucky I get to come play robots in general without trying to convince Gemma to slum it the night before talking robots all the time...

I'm afraid that the best I can offer at the moment is that it'll be within a few miles of my home at TA187PL. There are a few (nice) places near by that you could stay (Though the only place I can think of off the top of my head is Haselbury Mill)

Well, within a few miles of your home is a short taxi or lift away, so that would do :-)
