I would just like to thank you all for a fantastic event; it really was excellent!

I'd also like to thank Dan for letting me drive 'This Too Shall Fail' in the UNIT cluster which was fantastic.

What a great way to kick off a new year of roboteering! My robots shall be returning better and stronger next time but with more flashy LEDs. Oh yeah, and better construction and driving too. :-)

Hope to see you all at Reading!

Stanley lost to Fandabadozy... Not really a great improvement :L
TBF, the arena was like ice due to a fresh lick of paint on the floor, so grip was lacking for all but the fan bots :P

Yes, I found that as well. I thought it must have been my bad driving (first time with mixing and the DX6) but obviously everyone had the same problems.

Still, was good fun; I won the fleaweights tournament with Haggis, and Nibble came second in the Nanos, dealing out a fair bit of damage in the process (Nano fights are starting to get vicious! ). Didn't do so well in the Ants, with only Lump and BullyDozer making it out of the groups, and even then only just...Fortunately, none of my robots suffered any real damage (that wasn't self inflicted outside the arena  ), and I've now got plenty of new ideas for the next AWS as well :)
