I have entered with the same 4 bots I had at the AWS and am hoping to get something else done before the event. I may have persuaded an experienced roboteer to join...

Just a quick reminder, if you are coming and haven't yet signed up - please do so soon!

Looks like there could be around 40 ants, so not quite the quiet, relaxed event I had envisaged!
We will send out a message to everyone that has signed up with more details, mobile numbers etc later this week.

Simon and Craig have dropped out so it is probably nearer 45 but still a very good turn out for a non AWS event, I am really looking forward to this.
Great to see Zenith and Void making a come back and bringing Scott with them.

Some important info I forgot to put in the first post (but have now added ;) )

The event will take place in the Cockroft Hall (in the Cockroft building), there will be signs at the main entrance. The hall is on the ground floor and dead easy to find :)
The event will run from about 10am to 4pm, although if you arive at 10 on the dot you may find yourself helping to set up!

No, sorry Dave, it's all top-secret ;)
Honestly, if you're too busy *working* to come down to the other end of the country just for SAC then you don't deserve to find out about all the cool new robots that will surely woop your ar$e at the AWS! ;) (LOL, jk)

BTW you'll be missing out on cake too :)

Just wondering if anyone could lend me a 2cell Lipo that weighs under 17g for tomorrow, one has just died on me. Plus I may not be arriving until as late as 11am, but I will try my utmost to be there on time if I can. :)

I'm also very intrigued by the promise of cake. :)

Hey guys,
I did sign up (somewhat hastily) yesterday, however i have decided to pull out. Really just want to get everything 100% before i commit to a event like this, after a while turning up with shoddy robots gets annoying and doesn't show my creativity at all. I have been working flat out on my GCSE stuff so pretty exhausted/skint
Hope you guys have a blast!
