fine by me, but it will have to wait a while as my feather is still in the c.a.d stage.

hi guys!
today i took the first step towords having a working feather, i bought the shell/armor, 3cm mild steel off ebay! it weighs 4.5kg.
I think i got a fair price, ?45 + postage ( ?16 )
also...
dad said he would buy a BIG shed (?2000!) which can double up as a workshop, this should help with the rate i make my bots .

Sounds good Jack, although I'm a fan of the bouncy rather than strong method of robot building. I have a shed to do my work in, and they're wonderful things.

Finished my 2nd featherweight tonight, the first thats actually going to be in combat, in Barnsley on Sunday.
Its absolutely soul-suckingly awful, but I only had a couple of hours to build it. lol.
Dont think it'll come out in one piece. :D
