Reading Robot Club 14: Saturday 1st March 2008

Post by Simon Windisch »

Hi all,

OK, we set this up months ago, so it's about time we told everybody!

The twelfth Reading Robot Club will be held at the University of Reading Employee's social club (as usual) on Saturday 1st March 2008 from 12 - 4pm

Please see http://windisch.co.uk/robots/rrc/rrc14/index.htm for more information.

The hall has been booked, I'm assuming that Peter and Socrates/Tania are going to be helping again?

Please register at http://windisch.co.uk/robots/rrc/rrc_entryform.htm

Of course, we will be helping again! I think it worked well last time, let us know if you think anyhing needs to be changed/improved. We are hoping to have more people, hopefully some new ones, too!

I think Il head to this one.
Dont have an event to go to for the entire March period.
Need to build some ants though. Might be able to get two.
The lathe and mill should help out lots this time round. Might event have a go at a spinner.

*edit* just looked at my time table and I have a big presentation to do during that week. Will need to see dates but if its within the first few days then I can run off after.
Will keep things posted.

As it is just a week to go I have just been looking at the double elimination charts.
So far we have 14 entries for the full combat and only one clash with BOO and FIN on 40.825 so if either Dave or Josh could change it would help. Also what frequency are your other two on Josh.
If Andre, Malivoirec, Marco and anyone else thinking of entering could also fill in an entry I can check their frequencies as well.
