mid summer social event (possible)

I've been thinking about trying to run an event again for a while now after the last one i did didn't get much interest. at most of the events things are quite rushed n people dont really get time to talk n discuss things so i was thinking about hosting an event sometime at the middle of august with a less rushed attitude will have all the drinks n food like rrc and will do some more unusual games like obstical course as well as the football speedway and the spinner and nonspinner events all won't really be really very serious.
anyway what do people think how many people would be able to make it. will be held in scout huts in ickenham (greater london)

Any week in August will find some fraction of the membership on holiday We are away from the 17th til the end of August, so can't make the dates you are proposing.

August for me is the time for preparing and fighting my heavyweight in the FRA championships. So I cant make it in August. Sorry.
