Yes, I think 300 people had a problem. I'll probably go for the expensive car park next door. We had to get a taxi back to the racecourse.

I forgot about getting a taxi. Yeah, all the exhibitors were trying to get the last bus with boxes of bits. And the car park was full of people packing up.

Once I sort out my secret project and see if they want it will work something out.

WIll reveal what my 5yr project has been around July 16th.

That park and ride was a joke, simon, Oliver and myself all had to get a taxi back to the racecourse. At least it was reliable

I can only suggest that everyone complains about it. Certainly if no-one complains to the organisers they won't see it as a big problem.

A workaround is to leave the stand about 4pm, catch the bus then drive back and park in the car park for about an hour. This is what I did on the Sunday (as we needed to transport the arenas) and it worked quite well.

The Modelworld organisers pay an allowance towards accomodation. Last year it was ?35 per person per night. Obviously it only applies to exhibitors.
They also pay for petrol/diesel, the Inland Revenue official rate is around 10p per mile.

I should be getting more info any day now...

I have received the usual parcel of info from the organisers. I will try to email it out to everyone sometime this week (I have to scan it all first as it came by snail mail)

We are in the same place as last year, with some dodgy bloke with an R2-D2 in the corner next to us!

Dodgy, me? Surely not. Slightly shady, yes.

Yeah, got my pack the other day. I have got stand 36, I guess the antweights have got 35 like last year.

If you ask nicely I'm sure i'll let you have a drive.

Trying to get the front arms to open properly at the moment, need to program a pic to open the doors different amounts and moer than the usual 75-225ms swing.

I emailed everyone that's coming details of the event.
If you haven't replied to the email yet - please do!
(Simon, Tim, Leo, Marco)

If you haven't had an email from me then I don't think you're coming (as an exhibitor). If you think otherwise, shout now!
