I have managed to cobble together the front of my old Antrax with the pincers and the rear of the 40MHz version of Variant to make a slightly oversized/overweight Ant that the visitors can drive. Should last a reasonable time some bigger lithiums. I will be interested in how it does as it has the slightly larger motor gearboxes from Solobotics.

Frequency control this year appears a bit more ad hoc than last year. There was no frequency chart produced, and I don't think there's an RC meeting before the show either.
It only says that frequencies may be booked at the control desk in the main hall.

Please can everyone post their frequencies here so that I have a list and can try to "bag" as many frequencies as possible early in the day.

2.4Gz and either 40.935 or 40.925.

I can sort out with Josh any clashes and lend him some crystals if needed.

Freq. .825 and .725 (I have a spare TX Xtal for you josh)

I know it will clash, we just need to be careful not to run at the same time: Remember Stewie and Boo at AWS 24 in the Tag Team ?

The stand is built. :) Good job Leo and Tim can't make it as it's a bit cosier than last year. They haven't quite given us all the space I asked for. :(

FYI the neighbours are Oliver with his R2-D2 and a bunch of Lord Of The Rings wargamers.

You will need to pick an exhibitors badge up from me or the folks on the desk (if I can persuade them to look after them). I should be there from about 9am. Let me know if you plan to arrive earlier!

Go in the back entrance (in Russell Road) not the seafront entrance (you have to pay that way!). Go down the stairs, follow the left-hand wall and you will find us. (Same place as last year if that helps.) Stand 35.
